You’re probably aware of CX Day by now, but if you’re not, it is the brainchild of the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA), a global non-profit organization specializing in the advancement and cultivation of the customer experience profession. This year, it takes place on October 1st and it promises to be a wonderful global event.

Confirmit is a Global Sponsor this year and we’re excited to be part of something that has become a highlight in the calendar of many customer experience teams. With the help of Confirmit’s partnership, CXPA is able to keep membership and event fees low, provide resources and materials to support thought leadership excellence in the field, and orchestrate worldwide celebrations such as Customer Experience (CX) Day. A win/win for all concerned.

One of the highlights of last year’s CX Day (at least from Confirmit’s perspective) was the CX Impact Awards. We were delighted with the results for obvious reasons. Firstly, our good friend Seth Hall formerly of Philadelphia Insurance Companies won in the Outstanding Practitioner category. Seth is an exception CX practitioner who, along with his team, has done fantastic things with their CX program. In fact, you can hear him talk about it here.

Secondly, Confirmit's own Claire Sporton won an award in the Outstanding Provider category.  You may well be familiar with Claire who’s spoken at countless events and on many webinars. If you’ve seen her in full flow, do check out some of her stuff. Some of her analogies seem a bit baffling at first, but she always make sense in the end. Here’s what she had to say about how to get the most from CX in 2019.

Anyway, on the awards front, I think that’s what they call a double-whammy!

Like most companies in our space, we’re working on some cool things to help celebrate the day and we’ll keep you posted on them. I won’t give too much away here, but let’s just say that we’re focused on ensuring we have food, water and shelter…

How are you celebrating CX Day? We’d love to hear from you. Share your plans on Twitter and tag us using @Confirmit.
